The United Counties of Prescott and Russell Warden Normand Riopel’s Golf Tournament was held last Friday at the beautiful Hawkesbury Golf & Curling Club where 156 golfers took part in this annual benefit event. Weather, fun, and fellowship were among us.
Presented by Colliers Project Leaders, the 2023 edition of the prestigious Tournament was sold out in just a few days and was marked once again by its immense popularity within the community and incredible generosity of its numerous sponsors.
“I would like to sincerely thank all sponsors and participants for their outstanding generosity and for making this day so special,” said Normand Riopel, Warden of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. “Seeing all these people coming together for the benefit of a community makes me proud and extremely grateful.”
The Warden would also like to thank the event’s major sponsors for their generous financial support, including the National Bank of Canada, Accessibility Partners Canada, HEIN, Enbridge Gas Inc., MNP, and Vice & Hunter LLP.
Congratulations to Chris McGillis, James Tremblay, Cory Villeneuve, and André Charlebois who proudly won the Tournament!
At the Warden’s Annual Banquet, to be held on Saturday, November 18th, the community will be invited once again to attend an important benefit event. Proceeds from the Golf Tournament and Banquet will be donated to community organizations in the region by Mr. Riopel at the end of his term in December 2023.
