Description
Hunting is permitted on the UCPR forested lands subject to the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry. Larose Forest is within hunting zone 65. You can hunt deer, moose, small game
and fur-bearing mammals, coyotes / wolves and turkeys.
Moose Hunting
The United Counties of Prescott and Russell lands are divided in zones
to which a limited number of hunters have access each year.
Special permission from the United Counties is required to practice
moose hunting in wooded areas under its jurisdiction. Permission is
available at a cost of $ 100 (HST extra).
You may request your special permission as soon as you can provide us with your proof of tag or copy of tag summary by completing the Moose Hunting special permission form with your name, a copy/picture of your moose tag or tag summary, your mailing address, telephone number, email address and a choice of 3 specific hunting zones you wish to hunt. Please ensure that all information is included in your email otherwise this may delay the issuance of your moose hunting special permission.
