The United Counties of Prescott and Russell wish to update the population on the rehabilitation work currently underway on the Albert Bélanger Bridge, located on County Road 8 in Lemieux, which should reopen on November 17, 2023.
“As of our most recent assessment, it appears that the Albert Bélanger bridge in Lemieux is on track to be reopened in November,” specified Jérémie Bouchard, Public Works Director. “Your understanding and patience during this time are greatly appreciated. The rehabilitation work is going through critical phases of the project, and challenges are still possible. We will keep the community informed of any developments. Rest assured, we’re doing everything in our power to minimize disruptions.”
“Our Public Works team has been working on the rehabilitation of the Albert Bélanger Bridge since February 2023. We want to keep road users safe regardless of the season or weather. I would like to thank, once again, the public for their cooperation,” added Normand Riopel, Warden of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
